By car: Yas Island is easily accessible by car. It is located off the E11 Highway, which connects Abu Dhabi to Dubai. If you are driving from Abu Dhabi, take exit 14 and follow the signs to the theme parks.
By public transportation: You can take the bus from anywhere in Abu Dhabi to Yas Island. Several bus routes go to the island, and you can also take a taxi from any location in the city.
By taxi: You can also take a taxi to the park from anywhere in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. It's a popular destination, and most taxi drivers will be familiar with the location.
By shuttle bus: Many of the hotels on Yas Island offer shuttle bus services to the theme park. You can check with your hotel or the theme parks websites for more information on the shuttle bus schedules and pickup points. Documents: Government issued photo ID may be required as proof of age
Towels: Although the water park provides towels for rent, it's convenient to bring your own to save time and ensure you have a dry towel whenever you need it.
Sunscreen: Abu Dhabi can get quite hot, and the sun can be intense. Protect your skin from sunburn by bringing and applying sunscreen regularly.
Sunglasses: Shield your eyes from the bright sunlight with a good pair of sunglasses. They not only protect your eyes but also add a stylish touch to your look.
Waterproof Phone Pouch: If you want to capture those thrilling moments on your phone, consider bringing a waterproof phone pouch to keep your device safe from splashes.
Cash or Card: For purchases at dining outlets, souvenir shops, or renting lockers, it's convenient to have some cash or card on hand.
Health Restrictions: Yas Island Theme Parks attractions are not recommended for expectant mothers, persons with a history of neck, back, joint or heart problems, or persons overweight or with physically limiting conditions. Guests with injuries (casts, bandages, etc.) or contagious diseases are not permitted at the attractions.
Age Restrictions: Guests aged 11 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult, holding a valid admission ticket. Children aged 2 and under do not require a ticket or reserved space, and can enter the Park for free
*Appropriate swimwear is a must at all times, for the health, safety and comfort of yourself and others.
Inappropriate swimwear includes (but is not limited to):
- Attire with metal buttons, zippers, buckles or snaps that could be abrasive to other swimmers and the rides, slides and attractions
- Any clothing or accessory (belts, jewelry, etc.) deemed as potentially damaging to the attractions
- Underwear (boxers, briefs, etc.)
- Attire that is transparent or translucent in private areas
